About the trip
The marked Stara Droga Celna loop, twelve kilometres along the best-known track of the Polish centre. From Polana Jakuszycka past the Cicha Równia junction to the Orle mountain hut, where you can get a bowl of soup, and back over Dział Izerski. The whole loop stays between 820 and 940 metres, so the climbs are gentle and spread out – it is the length that makes it demanding. The clearing sits in a saddle above 850 metres and there is usually a track here even when Rokytnice is down to grass.
