A full-day loop along the ridge track to the chalet and back above the town.
Distances for the cross-country and ski-touring routes come from the trail operators, not from a route planner – a groomed track does not follow the summer path. Elevation and time are estimates.
The most demanding cross-country outing from the apartments. Up through Ručičky to Dvoračky (1,140 m), then along the Jablonecká cesta and over Strážník back above the town – the ridge section alone is 10 km; with the climb and return it comes to about twenty kilometres and 700 metres of ascent.
Take a food break at Dvoračky – it is the only reliable refreshment on the route and the rest of the loop has no facilities.
