About the trip
Poland's largest cross-country skiing centre, in the saddle between the Krkonoše and the Jizera Mountains. Sitting at 900 metres, it holds snow longer than anywhere nearby and the tracks are groomed all winter – this is where Bieg Piastów, Poland's biggest long-distance race, is run. In summer it is a starting point for cycling routes into the Jizera Mountains, among them the ride to Orle.
