How to get there

Parking
You can leave the car at the apartments – it is 400 m on foot to the Horní Domky base station (about 10 minutes).

Opening hours
During the main summer holidays daily 9:00–18:00, from 1 to 13 September daily 9:00–17:00, from 14 September to 1 November Friday to Sunday only. Prices and tickets are on the resort website – rates may change.

About the trip

A new bobsled track opened in August 2026, built on the slope of Lysá hora by the Horní Domky cable car base station. At 1,674 metres it is the longest in the Krkonoše, with 251 metres of descent and sleds reaching up to 40 km/h. You can ride the cable car up, or come down from the ridge and take the run to the bottom. From the apartments it is 400 metres along the pavement.

Personal tip from us

It is 400 metres from the door – ideal for the evening, when a ridge trip did not work out or you have an hour to spare.

Tips

  • The Horní Domky cable car takes you up, so it combines well with a trip to the ridge.
  • According to the resort website, MultiSport card holders get one ride and the cable car included.
  • At the end of the season, Halloween opening runs until 21:00 – the track is floodlit.

Safety

  • In rain the track may be closed or the ride slippery – check in advance.
  • Smaller children ride in pairs with an adult; the operator sets the minimum age and height.
