The loop passes through Rokytnice – a restaurant, a cake shop and a grocery are on the way.
The distance matches the route planned in Mapy.com; elevation gain and time are approximate. For hiking routes Mapy.com assumes a slower pace, so it may show a longer time.
A waymarked loop around Rokytnice with stops carrying information boards – on the town's history, glassmaking, the local timbered houses and the forest around. The waymarking is a diagonal green stripe. For children it is a walk with something to read and look at: every board is a reason to stop, so it goes in short pieces and even smaller children manage the ten kilometres. It runs on made-up paths and forest tracks, with no exposed sections.
With children, walk it the other way round – most of the boards come early, while nobody's legs hurt yet.
